Black water haruan vs Seahawk mini frog

" The grass is always greener on the other side of field " This santence always haunts me when i do land - based fishing . The unsatisfactory feeling and sense of adventure always makes anglers venture deeper and deeper to faraway .That why..today around 540pm...my friend and i cast at new spot near Sungai Keling village

Haruan heaven...with lots of weeds and murky water , today i'm using Seahawk Rinji rod, Abu Garsia Black Max baitcast and my favourite lure to hunt snakehead...Seahawk mini frog

As we arrived , there wee subtle splashes , sounds of 'pop'by the weeds ...cast the lure near the weeds..get six strikes but no hook up. I cast for seven time near the weeds..'plup'...get strike and immediately feel a strong pull on the rod . I fought the fish with brute force...Yehooo!!!..i cought 1.0 kg Haruan

Seahawk mini frog hattrick !!!

545pm..my friends and i cast canal near my school...the water so muddy and murky

Hearing a quiet little " pop" and saw some bubbles floating next to a couple of stalks of grass.



casting Seahawak Mini frog past the rise ,when the Seahawak Mini frog passed the grass , there was a "pop" but no hook up . Quikly casting the lure back out again , the retrieve was repeated along the trail....i was rewarded with loud " sploosh"!!!...Yehooo!!!....i cought 1kg haruan .

Today i'm using Abu Garsia Black Max baitcast + Seahawk Rinji( medium heavy ) rod + 50lb Power Pro braided + Seahawak Mini frog = 1 kg haruan...Yes!!

I cast my Seahawak mini frog high to make it drop vertically into the weedy area...just when it was about hit the weedy area..'pop'!!!..i fought the fish with brute force...Yehooo!!..i cought 400grm Haruan

" Early bird get worm"...6am today my friend and i cast at forbiden area for fishing near Labuan town . This is snakehead heaven..this pond full with Haruan ,Toman , talapia and flower horn .


As i arrived there in early morning , there were subtle splashes , sounds of "pop" by weeds indicating the presence of Snakehead...i cast the Seahawk Mini frog near the weeds and ...KAPOW! an explosive strike from below...Yes!!!..it solid hook up...Yehooo!!!...i cought 400grm Haruan

Snakehead hunter vs tortoise hunter ?

6pm..My friend and i cast at Sungai Bangat area

Suddenly when i treking the area i found my "old friend"...he..he Mr tortoise !

It take 10 minutes waiting in silence to take this picture

Mr Ridzuan get his first strike!...the fish run into the shallow weedy area.

He managed to get the fish get out from the shallow weedy area...wooo!!..solid hook up!

Tortoise

7am...my nepnew and i cast at Bukit Kalam area

My nepnew found abandon traditional fishing rod ( the local call it Pansuk ). My nepnew found a tortoise had hookup on the Pansuk and ask me to help the tortoise .

Using my fishing pliers i trying to realese hook from the tortoise mouth


It takes me almost 10 minutes to release the hook...phewww...

" You good to go"...hope it will survived

Hmmm..not my day! i will try again.
