730am..cast alone at watergate near village X . The water low and black .. heard a small explosion in the area grass, made me very impatient to cast .
Get one strike near weedy area...today i'm using Scum frog
Yehoo!!!..i catch 300gram haruan.

The Blackwater

7am..cast alone at " The blackwater "drain near factory X .F irst I was using the frog Scum, have a great chance the central drainage area but missed .. arrrghhh ...!!! then cast again at that area but no respon..i change my lure to Mazzy MF40 frog .
Get missed five strike .. finally i catch haruan 400grm .
haruan swallow all Mazzy MF 40 frog..wow! Lure seems to be so seductive

The watergate predators

630am I cast alone at Watergate near Village X ... cloudy water drains because heavy rain overnight . Hmm..let try !
This morning i'm using Scum frog ( black) ...this Scum Frog was gift from my friend... Ebel from Brunei .
The first cast had no chance. The second pass grass area , a huge wave out of the grass and grab Scum frog. I yank my rod .. eyahhh!..Yehoo..i catch 500grm haruan

Wow!..Stomach full with eggs..i must released back this haruan for future

Brunei snakehead Hunter trip

9 June we take the ferry from Labuan ferry terminal at 9am and arrived to Brunei at 1030am.
On the first day ( 9 June ) at Brunei ...5pm we cast at river X .

My friend..Azlan from Selunsong Angker team Brunei catch 300grm haruan using seahawk mini frog...i get one great miss strike when using Berkley Grub.

On second day ( 10June )...we cast at X XX pond near village X
After more than 3 miss dtrikes ..finally i catch 600grm haruan

12 June ...430 pm we arrived at Labuan Island jetty . Thanks to Azlan and Selunsong quiet on the treatment team that is very unusual, they are very friendly attitude made me feel very comfortable and quite reluctant to leave Brunei. I do not think this trip has failed because too many new things I learn and see ... can not wait March 2011 to make the next trip to Brunei .

Brunei fishing trip 9 - 12 June 2010

Super Kangkung

Today at 5pm my friend and i cast at drain near my house .. this drain so full of large kangkung ... kangkung plants almost cover this drain . Just a few open areas suitable for the cast, it is difficult to cast because the bait is always stuck on the kangkung thick. The use of Seahawk mini-frog frog successfully prevented from being stuck with kangkung. from my observations there are bubbles in the area with sound .. pop! kangkung this area .. haruan be at this area . Let the hunt begin !


Today I managed to catch three haruan , but only managed to raise one haruan ...300grm , another two haruan missed when I try to pull it in a thick kangkung...arrrghhh!!!

Kota Kinabalu snakehead

From 28 May to 3 June...my family and i had a vacation at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah . On 2 June, 4pm ..i cast with my friends from KK Caster Team.
After 3 time miss strike ..finally i catch 300grm haruan
My secret weapon..Abu Island II spoon combine with Berkley Grub ( White )
